Batchbake was created for one simple purpose - to help coffee shops serve exceptional baked goods without the complexity of running a full bakery.

How we bake

We bake in small batches using proper methods, quality ingredients and the kind of care that only comes from experienced bakers. Every product is developed specifically for coffee shop counters, designed to look beautiful, pair perfectly with coffee and deliver the kind of flavour that keeps customers coming back.

Our bakery team has over 25 years of experience supplying some of the UK's most respected food businesses, from leading retailers to iconic hospitality venues. That experience informs everything we do, from recipe development to the way each product is finished by hand.

What makes Batchbake different is the balance we strike between artisan quality and operational simplicity.

Our products arrive fully baked and ready to thaw and serve, giving cafes the flexibility to defrost exactly what they need each day. They perform just as well defrosted as freshly baked, meaning operators can offer genuine bakery quality while keeping waste close to zero. 

FreshFreeze Technology™

Craft baking is at its best the moment it leaves the oven. Starch activity and moisture migration begins almost immediately, reducing the quality of the product. Many bakeries solve this problem with shelf life additives and packaging. Our bakes are frozen so fast that the molecular structure of the product stays intact.

In blind taste tests Batchbake products eat as though they were baked freshly that morning. Because at a molecular level, they effectively were.

Designed for coffee shops

We also design every product with the realities of a coffee shop in mind. Portions are optimised, flavours are balanced to complement coffee and the visual impact on the counter helps drive impulse purchases and premium pricing.
